It has been already three months since my last blog post. I haven’t stopped cooking – on the contrary. But getting adapted to work life (and ok, some 100 other hobbies), I did not really find the time to come to the writing part. Trying to get back on track with the blogging, I’d like to start with a brief and easy recipe: avocado toast.
Avocado toast is totally having a moment. Therefore, I could not but try it out. Up so far, I tried three different recipes, but the most famous one, being the chili flake-topped version is really my favorite so far. All the flavours blend in perfectly together! Not only does it taste incredible it’s also super satisfying and nutritious and… super easy to prepare!
- Some bread
- 1 Avocado (pitted and peeled)
- Red pepper flakes
- Pepper and Salt
- 1/2 Fresh Lemon
1. Toast bread (if you don’t have a toaster, you could toast your bread using the top shelf of your conventional oven).
2. Mash avocado and add some lemon juice to taste.
3. Spread avocado on the bread. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes, pepper and salt.
